Need: Virgin Balloon Flights is a company that operates balloon flights from over 100 locations all over UK. The business involved selling vouchers and enabling customers to book onto desired flights. The need of the company was to bring all the process involved in running the business under one unified web based application to reduce the time spent on co-relating information.

Sales – Office, Web and Retail
Booking process – Office and Web
Pilots – Flight creation, Manifest and Accounts
Accounts – Payments, Refunds, Complimentary vouchers
MIS – Management and Office
Result: The development by Crystal Logic resulted in bringing all the above entities under one seamless application :
Sales – The office could access all information from the system and vouchers could be bought off the web too
Booking Process – Flight information was available under the system and customers could book onto a flight online too.
Pilots – Pilots could now access all information via the system and did not need to call the office
Accounts – All billing information was accessed by accounts on the system to keep track of payments
MIS – A single window for the management and office to review reports of the various aspects of the business
